December 14, 1999 is the 200th anniversary of the death of George
Washington.

I can't help but smile thinking about the face of Poor George being
tucked, rubbed and pressed against the bodies of thousands and thousands
of SC dancers every day and night in the form of the One dollar bill.

I'll be hitting my favorite SCs on Tuesday, Dec. 14 to pay my respects,
200 singles in hand, face side out!  I guess I could hand out quarters,
which also carry George's image, but it would be an ironic day to die.
Hopefully I will be around to celebrate his 300th Birthday on Feb 22,
2032.  I wonder if we'll even have paper money then...
