A man already in prison in California was indicted Friday in connection with the death of a stripper whose body was found in a trash bin in December. Marysol Peres, 21, was last seen Dec. 19 at Deja Vu Showgirls, 3247 Industrial Road, where she worked, according to police reports. The next morning a homeless man found Peres, an Alaska native who had recently moved to Las Vegas. She was shot in the head and wrapped in a sheet in a Dumpster at the Racquet Club Apartments, 98 S. Martin Luther King Blvd.

Kenneth Curtis, who also goes by the names Cornelius Curtis and Mario Newsomel, is the suspect in the case. Curtis is in prison in San Diego on unrelated charges, said Chief Deputy District Attorney David Roger. He will be extradited here and held without bail, Roger said.
